THERE IS NO TRACK PRACTICE TODAY. There is NO PARENT MEETING TOMORROW.

Reminder that the Blessings Closet in the clinic is available for hygiene needs for the extended break. Feel free to come up some time today to pick up necessities such as body wash, shampoo, deodorant, wash cloths, etc.

Due to the current health concern situation, ISSMA has cancelled all events until April. The 7th and 8th grade bands will not be going to Goshen next Friday, March 20.

Are you, or is someone you know in grade 6-11, making an extraordinary difference in the lives of others? If so, you can nominate them for “The Power of Children Award: Making a Difference”. For more information see Mrs. Heinlen in the office or read the poster on the door to the MS office.

Students –TODAY is the last day of Quarter 3. Make sure all your late work is in before that so that you can keep your grades up! Quarter 4 R.A. classes will begin on Tues., Mar. 17.

If you have not done so already, it’s time to order your 2019-2020 yearbook. If you need an order form you can pick one up in the office. All order forms and payments MUST be turned in to Mrs. Heinlen in the office by Wednesday, April 15. If you need to see if you’ve already ordered a yearbook, see Mrs. Walker in room 612.

PHHS will be hosting the LaGrange County LAW DAWGS for a charity basketball event again this year. The game will be played on Wed, April 8, beginning at 7:00 pm in the PHHS Main Gym.

The Steuben County Community Foundation is offering Humanities Fine Arts Summer Scholarships to Steuben County students who have completed 6th grade, but who have not graduated from 12th grade to help pay tuition for students who would like to attend summer fine arts camps. This is a competitive program, with areas of interest that include music/voice/drama, dance, creative writing, painting/drawing, photography/film/video, culinary arts, etc. Applications must be at the Steuben County Community Foundation no later than 4 PM on April 1. Get an application from Mrs. Heinlen.

The eighth grade trip to Bethel College will happen in April or May. Mrs. Oster will keep the permission slips with the money until we find a date that we can reschedule the field trip. If it were to happen that the school year finishes without the opportunity to enjoy this field trip Mrs. Oster will make sure you get your money returned.

Any 8th grader who did not get their 9th grade scheduling paper last week needs to get one from Mrs. Oster or Mrs. Heinlen.

8th graders who are taking summer school PE at the HS this summer should mark “Will NOT attend” on the MIDDLE SCHOOL summer school form. However, even if you AREN’T attending MS summer school you need to turn your summer school form in with “Will not attend” marked.
